Before you contact me to put rats on reserve, the first thing you need to do is to fill out an adoption application. You can find this application on the Adoption App. page. You must fill out the adoption application completely and honestly in order to be approved. I will then contact you and let you know whether or not you have been approved. Please note that I do not adopt to feeder breeders or people who use unhealthy beddings or food and keep their rats in unsafe caging.
Please
note that I don't contact individuals when babies are available. It is up to you to contact me when babies are placed on the Available page. Please be sure to fill out your adoption application ahead of time so you are approved to adopt prior to babies becoming available. Babies are reserved on a first come, first serve basis and it is your responsibility to contact me when rats are available. Please keep an eye on the Available page as it changes quickly when babies are ready to reserve.
To adopt breeder-quality rats,
you must be a qualified breeder or if you are a new breeder, have 2-3
references from other qualified breeders, unless you are being mentored by
myself. I am very picky about where my breeder rats go and would like to make sure they go to the best homes possible.
There is more information on my Reserve Policy page.
