Our Lines

Here is the list of the different lines that I currently have in my rattery. Sometimes lines will cross into other lines while other lines are kept separate.  Most of these lines only consist of a few rats, while a couple of the lines contain more than 8 rats.  Each line has it's own page, so feel free to take a look. While each of these lines are bred for a specific reason, each line must meet my standards before being bred. They must be tempermentally sound, very healthy and be conformationally correct. I will not compromise my lines by breeding sub-standard animals.

Colorbred Lines - These lines are specifically bred for proper color and purity. They are being bred to contain only 1 or 2 dilution genes so when they are eventually crossed into the Midnight blue line, we can be figure out the outcomes easily. Click to read more...

Midnight Blue Line - This line has two parts. One is for a pure Midnight blue line and the other is for Midnight blue shadows. Click to read more...

Shadow Line - This line contains several different parts. The main line is black shadows. The other parts are shadows in various colors such as Russian blue, Russian midnight, Russian silver, American blue, UK mink and chocolate. Click to read more...

Dwarf Line - This line contains 2 different parts. One is the fawn dwarf line and the other is the Burmese dwarf line. The fawn dwarf line originates from California and the Burmese dwarf line originates from Oregon/Washington. Click to read more...

Siamese Line - This line contains both black-eyed and red-eyed Siamese in seal point, American blue point and Russian blue point. Eventually, Midnight blue will be added to the line, but that may be several years off. Click to read more...

Burmese Line - This line has several different parts. One part contains seal point and agouti point Burmese and sable Burmese. The other part contains Russian blue point and Russian blue agouti point Burmese. Eventually, there may be American blue, Russian silver or Midnight blue bred into these lines. Click to read more...

Harley-Coat Line - This line is extremely small. My goal is to improve the health and type of the rats in this line. There are no specific colors in this line yet as I'm trying to preserve the coat itself right now. Click to read more...

Roan Line - This line is very new here, having arrived in June 2008 from several breeders in Oregon/Washington. This line is here because they needed some help improving the line and I offered to help. I've always admired roan rats and I'm happy to have this line here.
